An essential piece of successful reentry and recovery is community integration and reintegration. At Damascus Way, we are proud to advocate for our men and to help provide opportunities for these individuals to engage in community events and participate in society in meaningful ways. For many years, Damascus Way has been able to secure Twin tickets for residents or our program. We often hear how meaningful these outings are for the men we serve as it provides a sense of normalcy in life once again.
Last week, several residents attended an evening Twins games with our Golden Valley Reentry Coordinator, Jonathan Dumas. It was a wonderful night for a ball game!
