Residents at our Golden Valley campus were recently blessed to participate in an initiative from the Stairstep Foundation. Through the connection and work of our Twin Cities Director of Business & Community Development, Corey Webster.
Stairstep Foundation provides free tablets or gift cards to individuals who participate in the process of job application education. Participants are provided with training on how to apply to a job and to prepare resumes. After this stage, they then apply to various jobs and are then awarded a tablet or a gift card for participating in the employment training program.
This is the third time that our Golden Valley campus has hosted the Stairstep Foundation. Over 25 tablets have been awarded to residents in addition to gift cards for others who cannot have tablets.
