On Wednesday, Destiny Dads had the privilege of participating in a resource fair at the Scott County Jail, where Damascus Way currently provides support group services to men involved in the justice system. Since April of 2023, Destiny Dads has proudly served at the Scott County jail on every Thursday of the month. In this time, we’ve seen dozens of individuals complete our curriculum and numerous fathers participate in our support groups. This week, Destiny Dads hosted a resource table at the Scott County jail, along with other community organizations. Individuals at the Scott County Jail were able to visit and engage with our team members, learn more about what services Destiny Dads and Damascus Way have to offer.
Stacey Jones, Director of our Youth and Family Services programming and Kevin Saunders, our Senior Director, hosted our table at the jail and were able to interact and engage with Scott County officers as well as men and women in the jail. Many individuals were excited to learn more about Destiny Dads and Damascus Way.
