Members of the Damascus Way Leadership Team were privileged to participate in the annual 2-day Global Leadership Summit by joining virtually with other community and faith leaders at Christ Community Church in Rochester on August 3rd and 4th!
The Global Leadership Summit (GLS) is the largest leadership experience in the world which partners with local churches, ministries, and organizations to help leaders to grow and become a catalyst for change.
The Summit was an invaluable time of fellowship and learning. A diverse and impressive ensemble of key note speakers, including former United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, shared their thoughts and wisdom on how to be trusted and effective leaders in our contemporary context. Some of the key themes included; building trust, empowering each other, listening well and leading with courage and integrity.
Each of our team members who attended found moments of insight throughout the Summit. We are excited to see how what we learned will impact those we serve across the state.
