The Destiny Dads Program is an evidence-based fatherhood initiative of Damascus Way designed to support and empower fathers on the road to long-term transformation. Its purpose is to help men rebuild their lives and strengthen the quality of their relationships with their children.
We specifically serve fathers impacted by incarceration and substance use, working to draw them out of isolation and into connection, accountability, and lasting change.
Destiny Dads aims to help fathers:
Provide meaningful education that empowers fathers with knowledge, skills, and practical tools to navigate parenting, personal growth, and leadership within the family.
Offer accessible resources, mentorship, and support systems that prepare dads to meet challenges with confidence, resilience, and purpose.
Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where fathers can build strong, healthy relationships with their children and develop authentic connections with other dads.
Here’s what the program offers:
Peer-led groups that provide fathers with a safe space to share experiences, gain encouragement, and build authentic connections with other dads navigating similar journeys.
Monthly activities designed to promote play, engagement, and meaningful interaction—nurturing and strengthening the bond between fathers and their children.
Personalized support to connect fathers and families with community resources that provide concrete assistance during times of need.
Dedicated time for dads to identify personal goals, discuss challenges, and receive guidance and support in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.
Weekly sessions held across the Twin Cities and in Rochester focused on emotional wellness, healing, accountability, and personal growth.
Educational opportunities that equip fathers with practical tools and strategies to strengthen parenting skills and build healthy family dynamics.
Join us on the journey to restore relations of father and there kids.
