Over the weekend, residents from our Shakopee Program attended a mobile packing event for Feed My Starving Children hosted by Cross View Lutheran Church in Edina! Residents and staff, including our Shakopee Site Director Todd Quiggle joined a host of volunteers to assist in packing meals together! Nearly 500 volunteers turned up across the space of several packing shifts and 468 boxes were completed. As the pictures indicate, this will feed 276 kids for a year!
What a wonderful example of service and community engagement from residents and staff at the Shakopee Program!
